Searching for love stinks, but not as bad as disregarding its existence! Are there moments when you can’t beg, borrow, or feel the smell of love downwind? Do you really think you are a ‘being of love’ beyond the empty words? Perception can be deception! Knowing love in its deep sense when you have only experienced something that creates  warm or stirred feelings inside is just a peek into loves oceanic depth.

You might ask the question, ‘how do I know if I have love’? Answer to that is ‘everyone does’, but most have blocks they are holding on to primarily stemming from childhood trauma or treatments that were negative and still come up in the memory ‘THAT YOU ARE ATTACHED TO’. THE KEY is to be unattached to them, and they can still of course be remembered, but should become a means to have empathy for others with similar memories, and hopefully help them become unattached. You might try this:

Listen to and pay attention to your thoughts. Be aware not only of the thoughts but also of the feelings within you as the witness of them.  A new dimension of consciousness will happen. While listening and experiencing the thoughts  and emotions, you will feel a conscious presence – your deeper self – behind or underneath the thoughts and feelings. Thoughts and feelings will then lose their power over you and quickly subside, as you are no longer energizing the mind through identification with it. Negative thoughts that you are attached to  can become slaves.  Know also that the worst slave is the one that makes you believe you are free inside. You will be going deep into what mystics in the East called ‘no-mind’, where a state of pure consciousness is left.

In that state, you feel your own presence with such clarity and such welcomeness that all thinking, all emotions, physicalness, as well as the whole external world become relatively insignificant in comparison to it. And yet this is not a selfish but a selfless state.  It takes you beyond what you previously thought of as “your self.” Erroneous thoughts are predatory That selfless presence is essentially you and at the same time inconceivably greater than you. What I am trying to convey here may sound paradoxical or even contradictory

Love can hurt when chasing or looking for it, when really it’s not necessary as it’s in you, not out there. Learn to meditate as that is a ‘devise’ to detach from memories that are blockages to feeling stronger feelings of love. Anyone who’s made you feel love, if it was more than love with heart qualifications, mixed emotions, which is the dumpster of love, it will always be there! Love is free but has a price if it conditional.
