Be Irresponsible
May 6, 2016
Be the devils lullaby! Call me irresponsible, impracticable, unreliable, but it’s undeniably true, it’s ok to be irresponsible in love. Like a comet flying carelessly in space, all irresponsible people are teachers to those who think they have it all figured out. Gotta learn to watch out, and count your blessings all the time that the man upstairs hasn’t decided to ‘rearrange your life’ what for all intents and purposes appears to make no sense. Love is a quandary in that it’s both responsible as well as irresponsible. Who can resist? Sometimes, it’s great to go against all known logic in the name of being free. Call it magic and hopefully not tragic?
Freedom does come with a price though! Rules and barriers of common sense need to keep the freedom in check, but always irresponsibility is around the corner, at least from individual perceptions. There are moments when each of us can do anything we have a mind to, but there are sometimes consequences or karma. Be happy, be excited, laugh when you feel like it even if some would say, ‘it’s irresponsible’, what the heck. Feel the way you do when you feel good, but think about others and the implications you may have in negative ways into their lives.
Flying in a little plane up into the endless blue sky, having a honeymoon of joy turning upside down and moving every which way. Always, we have a survivable instinct that is the shadow of responsibility to keep the eye of god on the safety of life. Who’s to say what is responsible or not, many times it’s just perception of who chooses which way to judge it. When it comes to sex sometimes it’s the most glorious of times when two people act like neanderthals, and just let the world go by.
To really find love may require downsizing many responsibilities that are merely serving the ego of successes. Love takes time, and a certain amount of irresponsibilities for what you’ve decided to be responsible for. For example, the one who consumes themselves with so much dedication for success that they naturally become irresponsible to the inner life of themselves as well as others. Focusing on love may seem irresponsible to the onlookers, but what is success or life without nourishing all the qualities of love that are left in the closet for outer desires instead?
As the famous deceased singer, Frank Sinatra sang, ‘do it your way and to your own tune’. Get your kicks on route 66, but keep one eye open! Mistakes of irresponsibility may well, with awareness, be turned into lessons to attract greater deeds and wisdoms. Pick yourself up when you haven’t payed attention, and do it with a little more responsibility. Sometimes irresponsibility creates a special responsibility to make somethings better. Be open to laugh and love while forgetting what’s responsible and what’s not!
Being too responsible is often really a charade for hiding the neglect of the inner self of love. Take responsibility with love for any irresponsibility!
