We came into this world sick, to live out our life among the sick, as well as the many blessings we receive! Religions are run by herders of the sheep. We need them at this point in time, but they are ‘weigh stations’ for those who know no where to turn. They are ‘hospitals for the sick and needy’. Hospitals are for healing so that you can go out on your own to hopefully enjoy life, and make a difference in others. Church’s, by what ever name, and places for healing, although different around the world carry similar messages to love and heal thyself with the energy of each’s interpretation of god.
The doors of the ‘holy’ places have discriminated or judged who may enter or not. Off and on for many years I’ve had a meditation center where the door is open to all, certainly others with a yoga or meditation center do likewise. In the ‘western world’ the doors of the church’s are beginning to open to all, but with great trepidation for thousands of them. One type of individual that has been discriminated against are those that are gay, and vocal about it. The church has, of course, been one of many to judge a person’s personal life and it’s leanings. Work places, the military, sports, organizations, etc. have also turned their backs. Historical culture and fears of the different, still trap the minds of those who mentally dwell in traditions, interpretations of holy books, and all kinds of blindness to love.
Having never been one to find biological or romantic attraction to any but the opposite sex, I have no reason to support their choice but from compassion, common sense, and my wisdom that there is a lot to be said for ‘like energy attracting like energy’. Whatever people identify as love should not be judged in negative ways by others.
Listening like an innocent dog to a master that you have sins, as ‘they interpret’ from scriptures in an ancient book that is gods words is a spurious presumption of speaking for universal ‘god’.  Further, that they need be part of helping you heal with the implication that they are a messenger of god is blasphemous to truth.
‘’Take me to church
I’ll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies
I’ll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife
Offer me that deathless death
Good God, let me give you my life’’ -Hozier
Within your heart and awareness the doors of the church are within where the only lies are is the door from your mind to the heart is closed. There is no prejudice in the full heart where lies the mind of compassion and non judgment.
