It’s black AND white, only your perception of a word gives it what you see it’s meaning to be. Words have power, yet in all cases, only the power you choose to give it. Someone speaking only Chinese with the worst perceived words possible will never raise a hair of resentment or happiness from anyone who doesn’t understand the language. For many years, I had a group called the LA Let Go in Los Angeles. It was all about letting go of the control of words with a variety of different mediations to assist moving into the heart, and out of the mind of reaction.

More and more people need to adjust to a new time that we are in where all the habits, beliefs, ideologues, behaviors, faults, and general perceptions of yesterdays, need to be reexamined and perhaps let go of.  Even the creative Pope Francis is acknowledging that the Vatican needs to be more open to people with different life styles. Gays are now being accepted by Catholics and many cultures. For all it’s forebodings, a new world order is evolving, albeit not always for the common person in mind. New thoughts, new inventions, easier communication, travel, improved medical procedures, etc. Everywhere one looks, there are new ideas both mental, physical, psychological, spiritual, all technology, and better ways of doing everything than in the past.

The new world is one of ‘interdependence’ among everyone. It’s important that people access the many means of communication to learn what’s going on in the ‘neighborhood’, which is mother earth. The times of having ones head in the sand are over. It’s time for you to question all the old as well as the new. It’s a new time for everyone to be an angel, Santa Clause, nurse, and purveyor of good will through positive action to make it a better world. There is no time left but now!

Having to negotiate through words that some take as offensive continues to increase when there are literally hundred of words, even abbreviations, or clever ways of spelling words that would other wise be offensive, and then there is intonation of words that can be offensive. Time to self examine for personal ‘judgments’ of others or situations. It’s endless, but why get caught up in the bramble bushes of words and gestures. Life is shorter than you think. Just ask anyone that’s been around a few decades!

Anyone giving less than they are blessed with in material, mental, physical, or spiritual ‘benefits’  is not being as thankful as they could be for the blessing of appearing in a moment like no other in the millions of years earth has existed. Meet your real self, find that love, and also love the ‘outer self’ in compassionate ways. That quality will transfer to another and others.
