BE PASSIONATE … NOW!
October 26, 2014
Todd Beamer who died on the 9-11 plane commandeered by terrorists over Pennsylvania yelled out for passengers to grab the assailants with passion in saying, ‘‘Let’s Roll’’. Todd was my girl friend’s, at the time, former boss while working for the computer giant, ‘Oracle’ who use to, upon finishing a sales meeting, pack up his brief case saying, ‘‘lets roll’. Passion more often than not brings accelerated results. (serious researchers claim the plane was shot down by our missiles, or Todd may have changed the plane’s fate?).
Any way, the most passion should be about YOU! Not the narcissistic kind of ‘self adoration’, but by knowing and loving the inner you, or at least with full intent (passion) to clear all obstacles away to seeing that deep down you are no less than what you could imagine anyone could be. Reaching down into the heart in order to reach up to the highest levels of consciousness is no less than the most important thing you can do for you, and it will ricochet into the world to inspire others whether you are aware of it or not. The world needs that expression of passion, passionately!
Being passionate about inner things is a first step more important that side stepping it for another passion (like fishing, or sports, etc.). As the ‘you’ opens to find the best in you, start looking at the outside world that so needs ‘fixing’, and how you can play a little part. Question everything because if you don’t, you will know nothing and believe anything. Research everything important to a better life. Listen and be skeptical unless you can prove it.
As people age, one of the most important things for longevity according to psychologists is to have one or more passions. Life can become empty, but something exciting to look forward to everyday, changes your life. I constantly tell people that being ‘excited’ as much as possible about something you can be passionate about trumps the common cliche of ‘be happy’. Having passion about a contribution to others and life is great karma to yourself and ‘fuel’ to reach for more giving and compassion for all in life. Be especially passionate about the many dimensions of love above the limits it brings in others. The heart doesn’t particularly like unfulfillment or loneliness.
Be passionate about kicking out the negatives that are stuck on you. They can still remain in the memory, but it’s when the attachment sets moods which vampire the love you could be feeling that it’s time to passionately find techniques to let go of them. Give from your heart to another or others ‘who can receive’ from their heart, and not just take.
Be passionate with love and love will be passionate with you!

That’s so true about being passionate about something. Or everything.
I think it’s about giving than receiving love itself. When you give love in so many different ways…A smile, an open arm to hug, a friendly greeting ..
You’ll be surprised how many opportunities will come in your path in life.
Everybody wants to be loved. And I think if we all shared a little bit of live and compassion we will all live in a better world!
Thank you!!
