Silence is a GREEN Light

The lion crouches in silence as the victim prey sees the silence as his time to carelessly ‘sleep walk’, oblivious to the lurking danger. Silence is deafening to the truth. Silence is truth, and yet a double edged sword, while fertile ground for lies. The quiet can be a blessing to enhance the moment. The stillness within is that space that allows for a tranquility of the quiet sound of calm all around. In silence is the divine! Silence can be golden, but the silence of the sheep, or the people (sheeple) is fodder for the controllers of the minds through religions in collaboration with the power of politics.

There is a ‘conspiracy of silence’, and apathy often between loved ones, friends, and in the political/religion world. People are mostly robots with ready made answers like a computer. Ask the question, and the answer is already there. Ask a Christian a certain question, and the answer is already there from the bible and Jesus. Ever wonder if someone was there recording him with pencil and paper?  Mechanical answers don’t come from the creative, thinking human. Are you in a silent sleep as a watcher of life acting as if being entitled to it?

Ask a Buddha a question like, ‘’is there a God’’, and the answer will be different every time. All because of directing the thought back to the questioner to wake up to answers inside himself. The sun rises in the evening! Think outside the box! Question information passed down that is just accepted as what is. Stop for the red light, let the amber light alert you to move ahead and go head while questioning for a better or ultimate answer.

In this rapidly advancing age of complexity, it is no longer nearly as safe or prudent, as in decades and centuries ago, to not keep informed of the outside world, as well as being active to helping shape it in a positive way. A rolling rock gathers no moss, or a passionate activist for more love and harmony in life will not be as likely to be in harm’s way, or be part of ignoring any coming negativity.

‘’First they came for the communists, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a communist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a Jew. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.’’ (Martin Niemöller)
If your silence finds you asleep at the wheel, remember, at the end of your rope tie a knot and hang on.
