Fear and ‘ignorance’ have fogged and clogged the minds of common sense, and discernment, as people become ‘robotized’ into automated compliance. Ayn Rand who wrote the famous book, ‘Atlas Shrugged’, said, “There is no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible to live without breaking laws.”

Pornography in American airports is being enhanced by machines that allow ‘paid searchers’ to x-ray, and see your body and/or feel you up and down looking for explosives. Terrorism is confronted by using modern technology, ignoring the method the Israeli’s use, which is to individually communicate with airline passengers.  There, suspicious passengers are pulled aside, and then, given the ‘groping’ examination. (possible cause of later cancer is ignored, much like asbestos, and other toxic chemicals are tolerated for years until the evidence is overwhelming.)

Groping in the dark, and with little consciousness, seems to be the general way of humanoids who have suddenly found themselves saturated with high technology in the face of not realizing that they no longer live in the past dark ages. Humans have yet to learn the ‘art of communication’ as well as all the other qualities of ‘inner intelligence’ that ‘shinning the lights on’ will unveil – in other words, ‘waking up’ from the Rumpelstiltskin sleep of millenniums past.

Stupidity grows where apathy and ignorance, with inactivity for better ways, are put low in the priority box in lieu of keeping busy ‘window shopping’, reading romance novels, worrying about making more money, and indulging in medications to soften the blows of the ‘ego of ignorance’.

Serving ‘quick and easy’ desires are flooding man’s mind, overwhelming the ability to see, and discern life’s better choices. Riding in a tin can in the air is usually nothing but a joy ride for those unconscious to meet others imbibed with the same mental malady. The air, and the minds of people have both become congested with unnecessary flotsam. Perhaps one day a month, the air should be clear of all people floating to and fro. Future passengers can find that same clarity through love and meditation. There are places to visit untouched by human consciousness. Maybe it’s time to book a trip into the astral, and the consciousness that awaits discovery. Getting acquainted with the positives of the mind and the heart, is a journey, without the ‘groping machines’, that will bring everlasting bliss, joy and adventure.

The Anthropologist, Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has”. It starts with You and me.
