To be flaky with your money and calling yourself ‘spiritual’  is at best ‘flaky spiritual’ or just disrespectful to yourself and the one you owe money to. It’s all about how you handle it, especially in your ‘personal agreement’s such as ‘living quarters’. Actually, it’s near the top of things that define anyone in life. It’s the sensitive thing to keep monetary agreements, and that’s being spiritual. There is no spiritual journey that litters your life with unkept agreements, especially when it comes to agreements, in this case ‘monetary’.

A rich man is as likely to be spiritual or sensitive to the needs of another as it is likely in the scriptures quoting Jesus,
‘’I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.’’  That is allegorical, and also pertains to the ‘money slufferer’ who lives in a way with money that makes others suffer out of the money slufferer’s lack of responsibility.

The ‘eye of the needle’ to me is finding and knowing yourself or your center that is where a deep love of who you are resides, as well as empathy and compassion for others. It’s not  congenial to be divided against yourself by trying to serve two masters or ways of living. Martialism as a religion or primary goal in life makes little room for conscious or spiritual living from the heart. Nice to be both, but both become ‘watered down’ losing their ‘shine’. It could be called ‘ambidextrous’ living or trying to have your cake and eat it too, if you eat it, you don’t have it.

Life has choices of many paths, but to ignore or give little attention to the most important path of love is to dig a hole away from the blessings the path of love gives. First is to see what ‘non material’ is the best in you and life, and then ‘be’ that. Money is just a vehicle to furnish necessities for living in a healthy way, then to have it for a few perks that don’t amount to having you ignore your in development and compassion for others. Life and love require consciousness to blossom with little focus on money as your main life sustenance. Love that ‘flounders’ or seems to be everything but love, is not about money but about you and love at odds. Money does not but the freedoms of real love.
