Always consider the consequences! We all have subjective perception and behind it, our past that influences it. That past varies uniquely for each of the billions on the planet. Life is filled with drama, sometimes even daily from a light bulb going out, an unexpected bill, a physical or emotional hurt, etc. Wining the lottery or having things go unexpectedly better than we thought – it’s all drama testing our reaction/response and how we choose to deal with it.

Time to play ‘spiritual detective’, and identify those rascals from the past that are chained to your memories causing reactions or on the bright side response, to whatever stimuli that you inevitably find in your pathway blocking a day of bliss. Maybe you encountered some negative experiences that seriously affect your days, and years in ways that maybe you’re not even fully aware of. We all are affected to varying degrees by the pleasant or not so pleasant depending how we’ve been programed to ‘take it in’.

Life is about balance to work best, so that sometimes whether being taunted or pleased by what is encountered you can more likely choose how best to deal with what comes. Examine those ‘issues’ that bother you, and realize that they do affect you very adversely if you’re a wounded person,  Everyone has a thin skin if you’re vulnerable, while when you block out and compartmentalize or deny bad  memories you develop a thick skin. Both ways in moderation and self love are much more acceptable.

Have a clear vision for the future, prepare yourself, but always be present in the now. Give up attachment – The moment you detach yourself from all things you become so peaceful, so tolerant, so kind, and so serene. You will get to a place where you will be able to understand all things without even trying. A state beyond words. Give up living your life to other people’s expectations – many people are living a life that is not theirs to live. They live their lives according to what others think is best for them, parents, friends, enemies, teachers, as well as what government and media think is best for them. They ignore their inner voice, that inner calling or inner healing ability, They are so busy with pleasing everybody, that they lose control over their lives. They forget what makes them happy, what they want, what they need…. and eventually they forget about themselves.
YOU HAVE ONE LIFE – THIS ONE -YOU MUST LIVE IT, and OWN IT.

When events of your life meet expectations you are happy. Don’t be attached to expectations. Hope for the best, let go of expected happenings. I’m reminded of what the famous football coach of the Green Bay Packers, Vince Lombardi said, “The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that
whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.”

Mostly to soften life for thick or thin skin, always a sense of humor and the ability to laugh are wonderful balancers.
Look into a ‘laughter meditation’ to do and be more ‘enlightened’.
