You start the journey of life with a blank slate or tabula rasa along with unknown genetics passed on from parents or their parents. Life rolling on, reflects who you are and have been with few exceptions. Most people in this country have the ability to be who they see or imagine themselves as, with the main stumbling block being the barriers they foster within. Life is a road, a pathless path, until you decide the road path you want to be on. Mirrors come in all kinds of clearness in addition to conditions of light in which they are viewed. Those conditions are akin to the clarity within you.
The first path is the one you have absorbed and chosen within voluntarily or not, and how you are going to have it serve you. Doesn’t matter how negative or positive it is, you do what you have to do to assist it in serving how you see yourself. You are at the controls, even if it has been given over to circumstances that you choose to be attached to, and limit your journey. Life is like a ladder to climb to greater altitudes or attitudes into consciousness, except the ladder goes both ways.
Listening to someone the other day talk about women, I’m reminded of an example of a mirror of who you are at the moment.  That reminder over the years is occasionally hearing men’s camaraderie chatter about women that is often grouping all women together as being emotional wrecks, or some second class citizens to avoid. This is their experience because these types are mirrors of who ‘they are’. There are many, many people who are nothing less than an art form for the ages, but unless your vibration is  equivalent, you are not likely to meet them for more than a passing moment.
Never underestimate yourself. You know more than you say, think more than you speak, and notice more than you realize. Wipe the mirror of who you seem to be, for even the clearest window needs cleaning. Letting go of attachments that don’t feel loving is that ‘wiping the mirror’.
Do Not… shut love out of your life by saying it is impossible to find. The quickest way to receive love is to give love.
The fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly, or most likely, to ignore that it is within you, but needs nurturing. Focus on the road ahead, and not on the rear view mirror of negatives that clouds the view of the positive light. Remember, life is like a movie. In a relationship, the mirror is your partner. You are the writer, director, producer, actor, stage hand, etc., and not less important, the audience. Be the watcher too!
