Caveat of Love

Caveat of Love

Love has many hidden warnings!  A caveat of love is a love with limitations which is a warning for those who expect more from love than what they end up with.  When I worked on Wall St, an investment banking firm named Smith Barney had the advertisement, ‘we make money the old fashion way, we earned it’! Those who make money don’t usually just pull it out of the sky, but ‘earn it’. Love for most is the same way! Few inherit it. It has to be earned! Lots of ‘rubbish’ is created in the mind, heart, body and spirit that is in the way of the ‘streaming of love naturally’.

It’s usually one main thing that’s in the way of whatever, in this case love. That simply is, YOU! A few years ago a singer named Joni Mitchell had a song called, ‘Big Yellow Taxi’ with some of the lyrics being, ‘they paved paradise and put up a parking lot with a pink hotel …. You don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s all gone’. I would add that you have never really known that ‘paradise is within you, otherwise known as ‘love’.

I stay in touch with quite a few people partly to see how things go for them. Most had blocks years ago that nullified good, deep sustaining relationships of love. Rarely is there any change, although most want and yearn for deep love for their lives year in and year out, but nothing happens that attracks that. Nothing has changed in them instead blocking a clearing for love and inner happiness. You attract who you are, just a bit different. People are all  perfect…for what came before. If what negative came before is still attached to, things are not going to  change, and indeed often get worse. As a human, you are the only specie that can correct flaws that follow like a shadow. The ways are available, but for the ego that doesn’t think they need to grow and blossom.

It’s time to knock the charade off, and find out how to bring up all your love that you keep imprisoning yourself from. It isn’t going to happen from someone else!!! Two people usually carry their disfunction’s where ever they go, and when two like that get together, it’s a ‘parking lot’ covering over paradise within.

Real love amounts to – letting a person be what they ‘really’ are, not who they pretend to be, or that person who coddles their traumas or negatives. Most people love you for who you pretend to be, not how you show up in the negative. To keep their love, you keep pretending – performing. You get to love your pretense. It’s true, we’re locked in an image, an act – and the sad thing is, people get so used to their image, they grow attached to their masks. They love their chains. They forget all about who they really are. And if you try to remind them, they hate you for it, they feel like you’re trying to steal their most precious possession.”  Time to be free, find out who you really are, and end all caveats to love.
