I’m Mad as Hell

I’m Mad as Hell …*~X( at wits' end*;) winking

…and I’m not going to take it anymore! This is one of the great spiritual peaks of consciousness expressing it’s passion against the unjust coming from the mind of common sense fueled by passion, but with awareness and discernment.

Say to yourself, ‘I’m not going to take it anymore’! I don’t have to tell you things are bad!
For many, it’s almost a depression. Everybody’s out of work or scared of losing their job! The dollar buys a nickel’s worth. Bank’s are going bust. Shopkeepers keep guns under the counter. Punks are running wild in the streets. Nobody anywhere seems to know what to do, and there’s no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe, and our food is unfit to eat. We sit watching our TV’s while some newscaster tells us we have 15 homicides and 63 violent crimes as if that’s the way it’s suppose to be! We know things are bad. Worse than bad. They’re crazy! We sit in the house, or ‘’play games on our computer, and endlessly do texting’’.

Slowly the world we live in is getting smaller. All we say is, please at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Well, I’m not going to leave you alone. I want you all to get mad! I don’t want you to protest or riot. Don’t write to your Congressman. I don’t know what to tell you to write. All I know is that first you’ve got to get mad. You’ve got to say, ‘I’m a human being, goddamn it’! My life has value. So get up now and do something! Get mad as hell. I’m as mad as hell, and I’m not going to take this anymore!

It’s been 40 years since the movie, Network. You’ll know the unforgettable scene in which the TV news anchor, played by the late Peter Finch has a mental breakdown while on the air. Ignoring the teleprompter, he breaks into one of the greatest soliloquies of American cinema. A wandering but coherent rant about banks, crime, and unemployment. Finally, he says to viewers to throw open their windows and yell, ‘I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore’! Today the movie is as fresh and vital as it was almost 40 years ago. Sadly, we’ve not got the message! Have you?

The message is to network with your higher self while casting out all the liabilities that you’ve been lugging and feeling bad for all these years! At the same time, find out what you can do to make it a world that is in dire need of conscious help to fix everything that’s been wrong and that  is going south to worse. Stop, grab your higher self, don’t look back, and clear the runway for your head and heart. It’s time to forget the millions of years that humans have struggled for you to be here now at this moment, get high on you, and the love and awareness within! Live … don’t just exist!
