Mind-Heart Provocation

August 5, 2011
Provoking the mind to think ‘outside the box’, as well as provoking the heart to open more, always are ingredients for growth. Stimulation is a key to life, for those who squander or misplace it, grow complacent, and prone to depression. Provoking thought and feeling for the healthy is ‘fodder’ for living in a greater ecstasy. Why be like clams or turtles retreating into their shelter? Humans who avoid that which provokes openness in a healthy person have created a ‘shield’ of false protection. A stagnant pool collects unwanted mosquitos, as does the unmoving mind and heart attract boredom and slovenly, one of the seven deadly sins!

Medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas said Sloth is “sluggishness of the mind which neglects to begin good… [it] is evil in its effect, if it so oppresses man as to draw him away entirely from good deeds.” Slovenliness actually serves to activate the other seven daily sins of pride, greed, envy, anger, lust, and gluttony. Being neglectful, ignoring, and avoiding that which kindles the fire or spirit of a growing life is nothing but a slow suicide of your possibilities for the great blessing of being alive at this time. All life responds to ‘rewards’  or that which evokes the senses to be more open.

Only rare people will allow themselves to be open to thoughts that push the envelope of thinking they’ve settled on. Doing my free speech display is significantly about getting people to open their minds, whether it be about love, sexual preference, abortion, social violence, drugs, religion, spirituality, relationships, etc. Life is best when we are in harmony with the highest consciousness available in the circumstance while always pushing or seeking for answers beyond what we have. Behind each veil is a clearer perception, and never ending.

Love has no ending or limits to it’s self and experiences possible. Love always has a light in front of it to peek into the next unending dimension. Closing off and being negative about the heart, love, and new thoughts, is to park in the past while gathering more of the same ‘ol, same ‘ol. People on a positive path silently look to avoid those who ‘crawl’ through life non creatively, and sadly, nothing is likely to be said by others that it is happening. An example would be when single, health conscious people are open to meeting a ‘like partner’, those who smoke, do drugs, or have other troubling characteristics, are silently avoided. ‘Healthy’ seeks healthy, and healthy is to be open to all life’s doors of experiences with awareness and love in the heart. Provoke opportunities to become more aware. Welcome to an existence filled with more love and life!
